The Corsini Recliner
Architect Benedikt Bolza claims to have discovered the prototype for this recliner in the attics of Palazzo Corsini in Florence. Crafted from beechwood, it is designed primarily for indoor spaces—particularly libraries. Despite its solid structure, it is easy to move thanks to its rubber-coated wheels. The quilted wool-blend cushion is shaped to cradle the body in total relaxation, and the adjustable backrest accommodates different reclining positions.
"I love the crazy extended wheelbarrow effect. The design taken from an original unearthed in the depths of the Corsini Palace attics. At home on a terrace or in a library. When vertically positioned this piece takes on an almost sculptural quality." Architect Count Benedikt Bolza
